Rose Holdaway is a painter and assemblage artist based in Geraldton, Western Australia.
The city of Geraldton sits on a small peninsular on a sparsely populated coast. Offshore are the beautiful Abrolhos Islands.
A full-time artist working from her home studio, Rose paints for exhibitions and private commissions. She enjoys the challenge of conceptual ideas and also paints local scenes, particularly the beaches and the Abrolhos.
Her popular mixed media assemblages represent a tongue-in-cheek insight to life as she sees it. Junk collection is a favorite past-time and re-purposing a way of life.
